Symptom: 1) Regarding the malfunction upon setting the Pure Direct mode: The Pure Direct mode can not be set after applying the modification for improving the malfunction upon playing a particular disc described in the OST-746. (This happens only to the ESS Version Number 6134-5.) 2) Regarding the malfunction that is incapable of playing back a particular JPEG disc: The unit is incapable of playing the particular JPEG disc. (A QSS CD manufactured by Noritsu Steel Machinery Company.) Solution: The firmware has been corrected. Please download and record the two referenced files onto one blank CD-R disc, and update the ESS ROM on the unit by means of the CD-R.
